On Grape Fast Day 23, you might like to set aside time for a deeper reflection. Look through your journal from W1, Water Fast Day 1, to today, noticing your handwriting, tone, and themes. Are you speaking to yourself more kindly? Are you more aware of your needs? Have your fears or priorities shifted at all since you started? Sometimes people notice that when they fruit the fab up that they reduce or eliminate food hunger. The brain can thrive when it is fed.
On a fresh page, write down the heading “Who I Was Then / Who I Am Now.” In two columns underneath, jot down the differences that you notice in the last few weeks—not just in your body, but in your heart and mind. We are a spiritual being living in a physical reality. Your body, mind and spirit are important.
This journal exercise is a powerful way to see that healing is about more than physical symptoms; it touches every part of you.
